HYDES WINS NATIONAL PUB AWARD FOR 2nd YEAR RUNNING

Hydes Brewery is celebrating again after winning a highly prestigious industry award for its Tenanted Pub business for the second year running.

The Publican Awards are run annually to celebrate the best in the pub UK industry, and Hydes have once again won the top award in the category of Best Pub Company of the Year – tenanted/leased (10 – 99 outlets), beating off stiff competition from 5 other contenders for the national title.

The Brewery currently has 54 tenanted pubs situated across Manchester and Cheshire, almost a dozen of which have been added to the tenanted portfolio since the Brewery’s win last year.

Hydes was measured up against the competition with judges looking at the support given to tenants, the training provided, the ongoing development of sites and the way business is done in comparison to the larger pub companies.

The Publican Awards judges commented: “Hydes is a business which has demonstrated that an innovative approach, combined with sound forward planning, creates an environment in which entrepreneurial tenants are able to succeed."
